First, let me give you a summary of my 2024 in each quarter.

2024 in a snapshot:

Q1 — I didn’t know what I was looking for
Q2 — I knew I was looking for something but didn’t know what exactly
Q3 — I found what I was looking for
Q4 — I worked towards getting what I was looking for

To the 8 Unforgettable Lessons:

  1. In the early part of 2024 (January), I gained a better understanding of 1 Thessalonians 5: 16 -18. This is the lesson I’m leaving with you from this Bible portion: it’s not just giving thanks that’s the will of God (verse 18). The will of God for us also includes rejoicing evermore and praying always (v. 16–18).
  2. Take your own advice. We are quick to give advice to others but on the flip side, are we that open to taking our own advice? And here is one advice for you in 2025: Life is about giving and receiving. As much as you give to others, be open to receiving too. (It’s a way to gain balance).
  3. The slothful man is not a lazy man because he’s able to go hunting (Proverbs 12:27). The slothful man is the man who does not follow through with what he has started — that’s why he roasts not that which he took in hunting.
  4. Sometimes, God gives us what we need, not what we want.
  5. The nearer you are to light, time slows down. In science, when you enter the realm of light, time stops; there’s no yesterday, today, or tomorrow. When you get to 95% towards the speed of light, 5 years become 1 year. When you enter the realm of light, events occur before they happen.
  6. Rest is what you have when you have structures at work.
  7. Speak God’s word until it is your reality and you will rejoice.
  8. All things are possible to him that believes — Mark 9: 24

While some of these lessons look simple and basic, I believe they are timeless. Beyond 2025, they would still remain unforgettable.

If any lesson(s) caught your attention from these eight (8), tell me about them in the comments.

I’ve given you my 8 lessons from 2024, I would love to learn about yours (remember lesson 2).

Share with me in the comments as well. Thank you.
